NW Flower and Garden Show

Don was back in February for the NW Flower and Garden Show, where he supplied plants for Zsofia Pazstor’s Pictures at a NW Exhibition.  It was quite an experience forcing plants for the display, which was handled by Roseann with a lot of help from Andrea.  Lack of supplemental heat and some serious snow delayed some of the plants that had buds or were just unfolding their first leaves, but were not “show ready” but we still supplied some flowering Mahonias, and lots of salal, wintergreen, and ferns for the display.

But it was even more of an experience arriving at the Convention Center on Sunday (the show opened on Wed) to the chaos of the displays being built.  Roseann and Nancy both helped with unloading of plants.  Don spent everyday at the Show handing out brochures and learning more about the clientele that comes to this unique show.
